At Pardon Your Garden I find a household’s Greens bin, or other general waste bin or waste bag, usually suffices so green waste removal is generally not included in my services.
If you don’t have a specific greens bin and want to know how to get one, please see the links below-
To learn more about other green waste removal options, please get in touch with me.
Please visit my Contact page for more information about the areas of Perth that Pardon Your Garden visits.
Identification and treatment of garden pests and diseases is covered by my Garden DOCTOR gardening service add-on. As part of Garden DOCTOR I use my extensive practical experience and theoretical knowledge to identify, isolate and eradicate the hidden things that harm your garden. In so doing I’ve saved many a garden from destruction and disaster.
However, this is only possible if you act early- wait too long and you risk losing all of your plants. So if you have any concerns about the condition of your plants or just want a general check-up to make sure your garden is healthy, get in touch today.
Visit the Garden Maintenance Service Add-ons page for more information about the Garden DOCTOR and other gardening service add-ons.
Note: the Garden DOCTOR gardening service add-on is also automatically included as part of the Garden POTS service.
At Pardon Your Garden I’m excited to see your garden grow and develop, and that’s why I offer Garden Grow services.

At Pardon Your Garden I find that verges are usually a particularly neglected part of someone’s garden as there can be confusion over who’s responsible for this space. I’ve broken it down for you below-
Pardon Your Garden considers your verge area to be an extension of your garden and it makes just as much of a statement about your home as your actual front garden does. As such and if required, I’ll happily service this area as part of any of my gardening services.
Pet-safe gardening is something I’m VERY passionate about at Pardon Your Garden. I’m a big fur-baby lover (of the canine variety)- you’ll even see my furry kids popping up every now and then on this website or my Facebook and Instagram pages. That’s why I understand why being aware of pet-friendly products is so important. I’ve provided a breakdown of the key things you need to know below-
Ultimately, responsibility for the safety of pets in the garden sits with the fur-parent, so it’s essential that you advise Pardon Your Garden about any pets that live at, or visit, your garden. I can then present you with your options, any risks that they might have and in turn how to mitigate them.
Pardon Your Garden lives and breathes gardening and this shows in the diverse and creative array of services and service add-ons that they provide. My gardening services expand well beyond just gardening maintenance, so visit the Services page to learn more.
This is up to you, although I find that generally people prefer to be home as it allows for better communication. Pardon Your Garden can provide your gardening service whether you are home or not as long as we have access to the relevant areas and receive payment at the start or finish of your service.
I greatly appreciate it if I can be provided with access to bathroom facilities, particularly for full-day garden maintenance services. If this is not possible, please note that I will likely need to pop out for a moment to drive to the nearest facilities, which is included as part of the service time.
If you’d like, I can provide you with a police clearance dated within the last 6 months to give you peace of mind.
Pardon Your Garden accepts cash or card payment at the time of your gardening service. I can accept payment either at the start or finish of the service and will provide you with an instant electronic receipt when payment is made with card. I can also email you a receipt within 24 hours for cash payments where required.
If selecting to make a cash payment, please note that I don’t carry change with me. Should change be required, I will happily round the price down to the nearest $5.
For repeat customers, online payment and bank transfer is also accepted.
In most cases you will receive a Quote. However, if photos of your outdoor area have not been provided or there are material items that have not been selected, I will have to provide an Estimate. Learn more about the differences below:
Whether providing a Quote or an Estimate, Pardon Your Garden prides themselves on being accurate, reasonable, transparent and accountable. Please feel free to ask if you’d like to know more about how the listed prices have been determined.
Please visit the Quotes page to learn more about Pardon Your Garden’s approach to home visit quotes.
Pardon Your Garden doesn’t have a set hourly rate, as I quote based on the individual circumstances of the garden space and requirements. However, based on the quotes provided and the hours worked, the rate will vary from approximately $60 – $75 per hour.
Pardon Your Garden understands that a garden’s nature and needs is constantly changing, so I’m happy to change with it.
If you think of any last-minute things that you would like to be addressed as part of your gardening service, please just tell me when I arrive and I can let you know how this might impact on the quoted service cost.
Please visit our Contact page to view our flexible operating hours.
This involves removing flowers from plants when they are fading or dead- it is done to keep plants looking attractive and encourage more blooms.
This appears as an out-of-place branch or stem suddenly growing from the base or roots of one of your plants- they can make your garden look messy and impacts on the shape of your plants.
It’s not easy to identify when your plants might be ill as a result of pest/s or disease/s and that’s why Pardon Your Garden offers its Garden DOCTOR gardening maintenance service add-on.
However, given that early detection is key there’s a few key things to look out for:
