Current Services
At Pardon Your Garden we’re committed to our customers and providing outstanding customer service, so we’re happy to discuss with you variations to our garden services below and adapt them to best meet your specific needs.
The Garden TIDY service is for those who need a little bit of everything. It includes:
- Tip pruning, trimming and light pruning
- Manual weeding of all garden beds, paved areas, driveways and verge– including overgrown grass in unwanted areas
- Removing fallen leaves, dropped fruit and similar garden matter
- Box hedging
- Deadheading flowering shrubs and removing plant suckers
- Removing dead parts of plants- e.g. dried up leaves, brown stems, etc.
- Blow clean
- Removing dead plants
- Outdoor cobweb removal
- Picking up dog excrement
- Cleaning outdoor statues/sculptures
- Dusting/hosing down your outdoor furniture
- Tidying up your edges.
If your garden also contains some potted plants, we recommend you consider adding on the Garden POTS service which is heavily discounted when booking alongside a Garden TIDY service.

REGULAR GARDEN TIDY SERVICE
Pardon Your Garden recommends that you schedule a regular Garden TIDY service to keep on top of things in your garden. A regular Garden TIDY service means less work is required each time which helps to keep your costs down and you’ll also get a discount when making regular bookings. When we visit you we’ll happily stay a little longer at no extra cost to discuss what a regular service would look like at your property.
The Garden ENEMY service is for those whose biggest garden problem is weeds– that also includes that pesky overgrown grass in your garden beds and other unwanted areas. It includes:
- Your choice of one of our 3 weeding treatments (manual, chemical spray, organic spray)
- Weed removal in your garden beds, paved areas, driveway, verge and pot plants
- Manual removal of weeds in your lawn
- Advice about deterring future growth of weeds in your garden
- Free green waste removal
- Free spray treatments.

The Garden POTS service is for those who have a lot of outdoor potted plants or are just super passionate about the ones they do have. It includes:
- Inspecting for and treating various pests and diseases
- Trimming and light pruning
- Cleaning the surfaces of all of your pots
- Cleaning and polishing plant leaves
- Transplanting potted plants into garden beds
- Re-potting (putting in fresh potting mix or changing pots)
- Training climbing potted plants
- Fertilising
- Servicing of hanging baskets
- Putting new plants (provided by customer) in pots
- Mulching
- Manual weeding
- Free green waste removal
- Free supply of all required treatments and materials.
If your garden contains more than potted plants, we recommend you consider adding in the Garden TIDYservice which is heavily discounted when booking alongside a Garden POTS service.
Furthermore, you’ll also be rewarded with a discounted rate when booking in regular Garden POTS services.

Please note that some volume limits apply to the supply of materials used in this service and the size of plants that need transplanting or re-potting.
The Garden MICRO service is for those who don’t need much. It includes small garden tasks that take a maximum of 30 minutes to complete such as (but not limited to):
- Watering plants
- Manual removal of a small area of weeds (visit our Weeds page to learn more about your weeding options)
- Training a climbing plant
- Tip pruning or lightly trimming a limited number of plants
- Removing dead weed waste (following the previous application of a spray treatment)
- Blow cleaning
- Removing some dead garden matter
- Installing plant stakes
- Cobweb removal and more.
The Garden MICRO service also includes removal of green waste generated from the service at no extra cost.
Our Garden MICRO service is only available to residents in these lucky suburbs:

Service Add-ons
The Garden AWAY service add-on is for those that aren’t always home to care for their garden. It’s amazing because it includes ALL of the features of any of our other garden services PLUS:
- Watering plants
- Manual weeding of lawns and potted plants
- General care for potted plants
- Putting out your Greens bin in time for council waste collection
- Developing a customised garden maintenance schedule identifying exactly what will be done and when while you’re away
- Security features noted below.
At Pardon Your Garden we’re all home-owners and so understand the security concerns you may have when you go away. To help ease these worries we can attend to just your front garden, and/or:
- Provide you with a police clearance for our worker valid within the last 6 months.
- Meet with you beforehand so you can get to know the worker that would care for your garden.
The added benefit of the Garden AWAY service add-on is that you’ve got someone regularly coming to your property and keeping an eye out for anything amiss. Should our Pardon Your Garden team member ever have any concerns they will contact you immediately.
As an added bonus, your chosen Pardon Your Garden service will be discounted when booking it with the Garden AWAY add-on.

However, there’s a certain knack to growing and caring for climbing plants in your garden- there’s some unique considerations involved that just don’t apply to your other plants.
That’s why we offer the Garden CLIMB service add-on. It includes:
- Setting up new climbing plants for success
- Assessing the health of your existing climbing plant/s and addressing any detected issues
- Fastening and training the new growth on an existing climbing plant
- Advice on the effective ongoing management of your climbing plant/s.

The Garden LAYERS service add-on provides the perfect finish to your Pardon Your Garden gardening service. It involves the application of a layer of mulch to your garden beds and in turn a layer of refinement and extra care.
Customers often opt to include this add-on because it’s a cost-effective way to elevate the appearance of their garden by giving it a polished finish. What’s more it also helps to:
- Retain moisture in your soil
- Suppress weed growth
- Hide unattractive exposed weeds.
Getting the mulch
Everyone’s situation is different so Pardon Your Garden will be flexible based on what suits your circumstances:
- You already have the mulch – great, we’ll just take care of spreading it.
- You only need a small amount of mulch – excellent, we’ll happily supply the required amount.
- You need a large amount of mulch – no problems, we can either provide you the details of where to source the mulch yourself, or we can arrange for supply from one of our reputable partners.

The Garden STRAIGHT service add-on will help your plants to be strong and robust. No one likes wonky plants in their gardens, or worse, beautiful plants that snap when a strong wind hits. To address this, Pardon Your Garden will supply and install as many plant stakes as you require to support your plants in need.
A plant stake is a rod or post structure that helps your tall plants to grow straight by:
- Giving the plant the strength to withstand heavy rains, strong winds and thunderstorms
- Counteracting the weight that comes with a plant that bears fruit or has heavy branches
- Giving the plant a singular direction to grow in.
The Garden STRAIGHT service add-on could literally save lives…those of your plants. Once our experienced Pardon Your Garden team knows what types of plants require a stake, they will select and supply a stake suited to the specific needs of your plants, along with the ties and supports to go with it.
